Hi, and welcome to the Children and Youth Ministries page. My name is Kelly Courtney and I am the Director of Youth and Children’s Ministries here at Christ Lutheran Church. Our goal for the youth is to learn about the love and hope in Jesus Christ, and my goal is to serve the youth with a purpose, while reflecting the love of our Lord. Here you will find a list of our weekly activities, and upcoming gathering and retreat dates.  Come and join in the fun with our “Youtherans!” (Youth Lutherans).  God bless!

Sunday School (during the school year) for ages 4 through high school at 9am.  Junior High and High School will be meeting at the Goleta Coffee Company on Turnpike discussing the topic, “Heaven,” along with Trinity Lutheran Church.  We will be back to church before worship at 10am.

“BFF” (Being Faithful Followers) Bible Study for 2nd-6th graders is on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30pm at Christ Lutheran.  Join us for a study, games, arts and crafts, songs and more!

LOL (Love Our Lord) a combined Jr. & Sr. High Youth Group along with Trinity Lutheran Church, Santa Barbara and Grace Lutheran Church, S.B. Sunday evenings from 6-8pm, meeting at Trinity Lutheran.

Confirmation Classes for Jr. High (7th & 8th grades) meet at Christ Lutheran Church from 5-6:30pm Wednesdays, taught by Pastor Ron and Kelly.

- Junior High Winter Camp at El Camino Pines is tentatively set for Feb. 19-21, 2010.

- High School Winter Camp at El Camino Pines is tentatively set for Feb. 26-28, 2010.
